Does it seem crazy to begin talking about 2011 recruiting for the Hawks already? It was only a week ago that the Hawks signed senior Ronald Roberts, bolstering an already impressive recruiting class. Roughly a week before that the Hawks added Hofstra transfer Halil Kanacevic. It was only recently that Pat Swilling Jr. signed with the Hawks as well, another member of the 2010 class. In the coming days, I will be looking at a number of potential 2011 recruiting targets. While this is all speculation, a few things are evident when looking at a list of possibly interested names. The list of names is fairly guard-heavy without much happening in the frontcourt. With the recent signings of Kanacevic and Roberts, the need for a frontcourt player is slightly alleviated. Will the Hawks sign two or three of the names listed below? Possibly. Will they sign a player or two not on this list? Possibly. This list is likely to change over the summer months. Today I will simply list some names, and then beginning tomorrow, I will look at a name or two a day. I have seen a number of the players in person, and will add insight wherever I feel that I can. Names of interest are in no particular order:

Myles Davis- 6'2 shooting guard- Saint Peter's Prep (NJ)
Andrew Nicholas- 6'6 small forward- Eastern York High School (PA)
