Pittsburgh Junior Gathers Three In-State Offers

Last week, I posted an article here about how Saint Joseph's head coach Phil Martelli was one of many coaches that flocked to Pittsburgh last weekend to watch a high school tournament. It seems as if one particular player in that tournament, Beaver Falls' Sheldon Jeter, impressed. According to the Pittsburgh Basketball Report ( here ) Jeter has recently collected scholarship offers from Saint Joseph's, Temple, and Penn State. Along with the Penn State offer cam an unofficial visit to campus this past weekend.

Sheldon Jeter is a 6'6 wing who missed the first part of the season with a broken bone in his left hand. Since his return, his Beaver Falls team has won nine consecutive games. A video of Jeter, filled with highlights from last season, can be found here .
